This was supposed to be a post script to the previous video, but I forgot. And it’s an ad and not entirely a Minecraft video.
The RPM Challenge is an annual event where musicians all around the world write, record, mix, and master an album in the month of February. The last couple years I have used Minecraft to build an instrument and record the album. This year, I had other plans that didn’t quite come together, but I did record the clicking Observer clocks on the wool farm of the Minecraft LAN Party server to use as a bit of percussion.
So I turned the Minecraft sounds into the whole album.
I make weird ambient experimental electronic music under the name Bangsplat, and this year’s RPM Challenge release is called “Bright And Shiny.” It’s dark and a little disturbing and 38 minutes long. If that sounds interesting to you, you can buy it here (you can name your own price – including FREE!)
Also, I’m raising money for this year’s Walk MS on April 22nd, 2018. If you would like to help me raise money to support Multiple Sclerosis research, please visit my Walk MS fundraising page.
