Let’s chat about confirmation bias.
I recorded an episode that I’m not going to release where I said “let’s do some Minecraft Science!” and then proceeded to be as unscientific as you can get. I was paying attention to the evidence that supported what I expected and ignored the rest; this is a perfect example of confirmation bias, and it is the reason we repeat experiments.
So I thought this would be a good opportunity to talk about science and what to avoid when trying to learn.
TL;DW: the zombie inside the spawner cage has nothing to do with the zombie that will spawn from it.
