The RPM Challenge is an annual event where musicians are challenged to write, record, mix, and master an album in the month of February. This is my 7th year participating.
This year, I constructed a musical instrument in Minecraft and composed an Experimental score to play on it. The resulting recording was then heavily filtered and mixed to make the final piece, which is about an hour long.
This video is the raw recording I used for my album.
The finished piece is called “Void World” and can be found at my Bandcamp page. It is available for download on a pay-what-you want basis (including free).
